Commissioning a bespoke piece
Do you love Danniella’s style of work but after something a bit different from what we sell in our online shop? Maybe you would like an existing design but in a different metal or slightly larger or smaller. Maybe you have a completely new idea, or you know that you want something but not entirely sure what it is that you’re after… If any of these apply to you then send us a message we’d love to make a bespoke piece of jewellery, silverware or sculpture just for you!
Each commission is unique and so the commissioning process can differ slightly, however as a general guide the commissioning process starts with an inquiry, by yourself, this can be made either via the ‘contact us’ page on our website or by emailing Danniella directly at: danniella@wilde-flower.com.
Danniella will then work on a design and once approved by yourself the making process will begin.

Olive branch infinity ring
Danniella was approached by a client to make a silver ring for her girlfriends birthday. The client wasn’t 100% sure on what she wanted the ring to look like in the beginning and gave Danniella total freedom to deign something suitable. She also sent Danniella images of other rings she had found online and explained which aspects she did and didn’t like about each piece to help Danniella get a sense of the clients style.
Danniella spent some time designing, once she had a solid idea she believed in she made a rough wax model to help present her idea of combining the shape of the infinity symbol with an olive branch. The client loved the design and gave Danniella the go ahead to start making the ring.
Danniella completely hand fabricated the ring herself. Both the client and her girlfriend fell in love with the ring as soon as they received it.
“Danni made the perfect birthday present for my girlfriend. I wanted something really special but that she could wear everyday. I had started by sending her a couple of examples of what I liked and she worked with me to make it unique, but still practical and comfortable to wear. She communicated with me throughout the whole process, sending me design sketches and making suggestions for the ring. The result was so beautiful I am tempted to order one for myself!”
Utopia clinique wall art
Utopía Clinique approached Danniella about re-creating their logo as a large wall sign which would be the main focus when clients walked into their reception area at the newly built physio and oestiotherpy clinic.
This was a big challenge unlike any other Danniella had completed before. When given the brief Danniella visited the clinic to see where the sign would need to be installed and the interior design which much to her excitement was not your typical sterile looking medical building. There was a cosy homely feeling about the clinic with a lot of warmth and texture to make you feel comfortable when you were inside. Danniella loved this contrast with the typical spotless clinic style equipment. Danniella wanted to create something different with character that resembled a piece of art, rather than just a regular corporate sign, drawing in inspiration from the decor in the clinic.
Utopía Clinique’s logo design has a very free form feel to it which lends itself well to being replicated in a handcrafted way. Danniella crafted the logo using brass which she hammered to achieve texture and copper which she oxidised to give a rustic look. She also designed and made stand-off fixings to give the logo the illusion that it is hovering just off the wall. Danniella decided to pair this wall art with the name of the clinic in crisp laser cut acrylic to portray the professional cleanliness of a physiotherapy clinic.
18ct gold & silver sunflower stacking ring
Danniella was approached by a customer wanting a ‘Sunflower Stacking Ring’ but with 18ct Gold petals. Taking up Danniella’s recommendation the customer wears her ring paired with two ‘Tulip Stem Rings’.
rosebush interlocking rings
Danniella was approached by a client asking if she could make two silver interlocking rings as a gift for her parents 25th (silver) wedding anniversary.
During a video call consultation the client explained how her parents, on their honeymoon, bought a pair of interlocking glass rings which they kept in a little decorative dish on their mantelpiece. Unfortunately fairly recently the glass interlocking rings where knocked off the mantlepiece and broke. The client had been inspired to contact Danniella after seeing her ‘Stem Rings’ and wondered an aspect of a sentimental rose bush could be worked into the interlocking rings.
Danniella went away and designed the ‘Rosebush Interlocking Rings’: one ring which imitates a thorny rosebush stem in the fathers wedding ring size, and the other a sleek simple ring with a tiny rose flower on top in the mothers wedding ring size. The two rings when interlocked symbolise the mother and father (two different people) coming together to make up a perfect rose. Two rings can move freely but will always be connected.
“ I actually can’t put into words how amazing they are! I love it Thank you so much! That tiny rose is just perfect! I don’t know how you’ve created something so small yet so detailed!”
Poppy brooch
Danniella was commissioned to make a Poppy Brooch in sterling silver in the same style as how she makes her Silver Flower Sculptures.
The brooch has a double pin to offer stabilisation and added security when being worn due to the large size. Danniella oxidised the stamen on the brooch to a very dark black colour to add contrast to the piece and accentuate the stamen detailing which may otherwise get lost against the textured petals.
