Sterling Silver & Pine Wood
Hand Fabricated using Sterling Silver sheet and wire. I hand pierced all the leaves and shaped using the ‘Chase and Repousse’ technique. All of the silver components were carefully soldered together. I used the ‘Shou Sugi Ban’ technique of burning the surface of the pine wood to achieve the colour and texture.

Brass, Copper (Chemically Oxidised) & Laser-cut Acrylic
I had brass and copper sheet laser cut (due to the size and thickness of the metal). I hammered the brass to achieve the texture before fabricating and attaching hidden stand-off fixing to give the illusion that the piece was floating when mounted to the wall. The copper elements I chemically oxidised to contrast with the brass which I highly polished to finish.
The lettering I had laser cut in acrylic.
